TVXQ on the top chart again

With a sales figure of 103,940, Jaejoong and Micky Yoochun's new single album "COLORS ~Melody and Harmony / Shelter" crushed the competition on it's debut on the Oricon Daily Charts. VAMPS was a distant second place with nearly 90,000 less sales, selling 13,962 units. Kawamura Ryuuichi came in at third with a sales figure of 6,521 units.

This number is extremely impressive because the single was released earlier in the month in Digital form and downloads exceeded 250,000. Also, according to some reports, if you include the DVD sales of "COLORS ~Melody and Harmony / Shelter," the sales figure surpasses 180,000.

Wow, even without the full 5 members of TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki, they can have such high sales figures. It shows you their immense popularity in Japan right now. More than that their "4th Live Tour 2009 - Secret Code - Final in Tokyo Dome" also reached #1 on the Oricon DVD sales chart

A Happy Chuseok: Yunho and Ara

'Heading To The Ground' leads Jung Yunho of DBSK/TVXQ and Go Ara fancied themselves up into traditional Korean apparel and wished everyone a happy Chuseok, a major three-day harvest festival and holiday celebrated in the autumn every eighth months of the lunar calendar by Koreans in Korea and the world.

Chuseok is a very well-respected time of the year in Korea so Yunho and Ara paid their respects to their fans with formal bows in their pictures. Yunho wished, "that everyone could happily celebrate Chuseok with their families." He also added, "Through the drama I'm portraying a new image so please love 'Heading To The Ground' as much the actors and staff are working on the drama."

Ara also said, "Make a wish as you watch the full moon, eat lots of delicious food and enjoy your holiday. I will be busy this Chuseok because of the drama filming but I am working hard for the viewers so please love 'Heading To The Ground'."

Yoona of Girls' Generation and the members of TVXQ are being issues, for they are selected to be witnesses of the parliamentary inspection of the administration which will proceed most probably on the 5th of October.

Seung-deok Kho and Mun-hwan Jo, members of the Grant National Party, have requested Jaejoong, Junsu and Yoochun of TVXQ, Yoona of SNSD and Lee Sooman, to be witnesses regarding the unjust contracts against entertainers at the Administration of Inspection of the Fair Trade Commision.

Parties concerned are claiming that even if they are selected as witnesses, the chances of attending the parliament is very small.

HTTG rating are dropping

Heading to the Ground rate which is staring Jung Yunho, the member of Asia star DBSQ/TVXQ/THSK are dropping to about 5% again. Whatever, this issue doesn't matter to mee much, I just continue to enjoy watching it as normal. Honestly, I think Yunho acting skill isn't standard yet comparing to other because he is just newbie. But to watch he act like this, it makes me feel still happy but a bit strange as I know about his real characteristics. Maybe because we know about him so much about his life, that's why we think he acting skill is bit strange and some part isn't natural - especially when he had to act someone fun (but still enjoy for me hehehe).

TVXQ got number 2nd in ....

TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki has been very successful in Japan, with numerous number #1 hits on the Oricon Charts and holding concerts at the famed Tokyo Dome. With all these acheivements, The Rising Gods of the East have really risen fast in the land of the rising sun. Well, they can add another title to their long list of feats in Japan.

On September 13th, Japanese CDTV had a poll asking, "What Artists do you want to see most live?" And the boys of TVXQ came in at number 2. They surpassed famous acts such as Kat-tun, Exile, and Ayumi Hamasaki. Only the mega popular Arashi were ahead of them.

TVXQ 3 member lawsuit with SME's going to an end!!!

All documents relevant to the dispute between TVXQ members YoungWoong Jaejoong, Micky Yoochun and Xiah Junsu and SM Entertainment's exclusive contract dispute were to be handed in by today (September 11th). The Courts will begin to read through all these documents to come to a decision and many are wondering if the two sides will be able to finish on good terms.

The three members filed this case against SM Entertainment and the first hearing happened on August 21st with the Courts ruling that all relevant documents must be handed in by September 11th.

At the time, the Courts stated, "We will end this hearing here and after reading all documents that are to be handed in by September 11th, we will come to a decision."

Now the two sides have stepped into a stage where all the documents are submitted and all they can do is wait. In the case of a Exclusive Contract Suspension Request, the verdict date is not set in advance so it is highly likely that neither side will appearing in court again.

An SME representative stated, "All we can do is wait for the verdict after submitting all our documents in by the 11th. We do not know when the results will be coming out."

In reference to the Preservation of Evidence Request that the three members filed and was approved by the courts, he said, "As the documents that go under the preservation of evidence are different from the ones we had to submit to the Courts for the Exclusive Contract Suspension Request, we are still waiting as we have received an answer from the Courts as to the scope of documents needed as well as when they need to be handed in by."

HTTG opens with Yunho kiss scence

In the premiere episode of MBC's drama "Heading to the Ground", U-Know Yunho, who is casted as the lead role of a soccer player, shares a kiss with actress Lee Yoon Ji, who plays the soccer team's nutritionist.

This particular scene begins a solemn Yunho talking to Lee Yoon Ji by the edge of Han River after discovering that his ex-girlfriend's marriage. Out of nowhere, a soccer ball comes flying at Yunho, knocking Yunho into the water. After Lee Yoon Ji rescues him, she then proceeds to perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation on the DBSK leader.



Both Yunho and Lee Yoon Ji have expressed feelings of nervousness for the kissing scene.

Yunho confessed, "During the night before the shooting, I was trembling. Even in variety dramas, I never met lips with anyone. I was shaking so much that I could not even sleep well. However, Yoon Ji-noona led well."

"I thought I was the only one feeling nervous," fellow cast member Lee Yoon Ji commented. She added, "There were a lot of Yunho fans on set so I tried to finish the scene as quickly and efficiently as possible," sending a round of laughter from those on the set.

Surprisingly, the premier episode only managed to rack in a disappointing 7.2% of Korean TV viewers, opposed to the high ratings of SBS's "Swallow the Sun" and "My Fair Lady" (17.4%).

Perhaps it wasn't a full-on make-out session, but just the possibility of Yunho locking lips with the opposite sex is enough to make fangirls squirm in their seats. Cassiopeians may want to shield their eyes for the first episode, but here are a couple more shots from the drama, featuring Yunho and his co-star Go Ara.

Hello! This is Jung Yunho who plays the role of Cha Bong-goon.

Hello viewers.
For the first time, I, Jung Yunho, am greeting you for the first time as an actor in this viewer's opinion board.

It is finally the start.
I will be meeting all of you as the main character Cha Bong-goon of 'Heading to the Ground',
I have become very attached to Bong-goon as we share similar personality traits,
and I want to mature along with him in the drama.
Even if I am lacking, please keep watching me with loving attention.

To all the staff who take care of me,
and the senior actors who have given me many lessons and advice on acting.
Their sincerity and each warm word of encouragement they give me makes me stronger and happier.
Although I did not have long to prepare for this role, I believe that I worked as hard as I could in the given time,
and even though viewers might not be able to feel that I have done so,
I will work hard as Actor Jung Yunho and show everyone my growth as an actor every episode as this is my first step into acting.

DBSK May Not Perform At Dream Concert 2009

Up to 15 artists including DBSK, 2PM, Big Bang, SNSD, MC Mong, Jewelry, Super, Junior, SHINee and 2NE1 were said to be performing at this year's Dream Concert in Korea. But after recent events, DBSK and 2PM have said that they are unsure whether or not they will be performing.

As you all may already know, DBSK's Micky Yoochun, Xiah Junsu, and Youngwoong Jaejoong are having some problems with their record label, SM Entertainment, regarding their salaries. A representative for DBSK has said, "We know that the expectations for Dream Concert 2009 were huge for the DBSK fans. However, resolving this case with SM amicably is our first priority, for the sake of the future expansion of the Korean music industry." and "We all hope that the boys will quickly reclaim their titles as the kings of K-Pop."

Dream Concert will still take place as planned, although the lineup for this year is a bit unclear. Dream Concert 2009 will take place at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on October 10th from 6:00PM. Last year's Dream Concert was a mega success but that seems like a Distant Dream...

A song called Colors - Melody and Harmony sung by TVXQ member Hero Jeajoong and Micky Yoochun has been released ahead from its schedule released. This song will be used as the theme song for Hello Kitty's 35th anniversary in Japan and the world.

TVXQ’s Yunho talks about the lawsuit between their member and SM Entertainment

On August 2nd, during a press conference for the new MBC Drama "Heading to the Ground" at the Seoul Grand Hyatt Hotel, TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki's leader Yunho briefly talked about the pending court case with three of TVXQ's members (Jaejoong, Micky, Xiah).

Yunho said that there's a lot of negative rumors floating around that simply aren't true. As for the case itself, he wouldn't go into details as he said he can't say anything right now but he did say he wishes everything can be settled soon and in a peaceful manner. Yunho also said that all the TVXQ members have a strong bond. While he was working hard during a late night shooting for "Heading to the Ground," he would receive encouraging text messages from his fellow TVXQ members. They would send text messages such as "How was your day?," "Do Your Best!," "Hwaiting / Fighting." "how is it going now?" and I answered "I tried to act handsome here." and they all say "which part you can be handsome." Yunho stated that he appreciated all their support and because it's his first venture into acting he really needs their support.

It's good to know that the bond amongst the members is still strong, hopefully everything will be resolved soon in an amicable manner.

I hope the after hearing this directly from Yunho, all the fans will stop worrying about disbandment.

Yunho 1st acting in drama as a main role "Heading to the ground"

Jung Yunho/U-Know Yunho, the leader of Asia boy band group TVXQ, has been acted as his first role in the Korean drama. This new drama "Heading to the ground" will be aired on MBC TV Wednesday 9th.

Jung Yunho, who plays the lead role of Cha Bong-goon, prayed for the success of Heading to the Ground by saying Please help this drama be a big hit! and praying alongside fellow actors Ara, Lee Yunji and Lee Sang-yoon.

Moreover, on August 31st, the shooting unfolds the scene of Cha Bong-gun playing a football game for FC SOUL. Unexpectedly there are 4000 fans participating within this after the posting the announcement on the drama homepage. This shows how popular U-Know Yunho of TVXQ is.
